Located 20 minutes north of the Twin Cities, Majestic Oaks features two 18-hole courses, one executive nine-hole course and a driving range. Each course has its own unique layout, designed to play comfortably for the beginner, yet challenge and bring back the most experienced players day after day.
The Platinum course is the oldest of the three. Designed by Charles Maddox, it was ranked among Golf Digest's Top 75 Public Courses in 1990. From the back tees, the Platinum course measures more than 7,000 yards and has many holes carved out of huge beautiful Oak trees. Deep bunkers guard the undulating greens placing a premium on approach shots.
The Gold Course, which plays over 6400 yards from the back tees, is among the favorites for many Twin City area golfers. Course architect Garrett Gill used natural hazards and terrain in his design, which provide an aesthetic appeal to the surrounding landscape. Accurate tee shots will be needed in order to score well.
The Executive Nine is a favorite among north suburban golfers consisting of seven par threes and two par fours. Much like the Platinum Course, the greens are very undulating and guarded by deep bunkers. Golfers will have to bring their best sand game to play well here. |
